The White Sands Missile Range station 28(Tula) reported a peak wind gust of 66 mph. Station 25, also on the missile range reported a peak gust of 58 mph.

Wider weather episode

North to northwest flow aloft continued with another upper trough moving through New Mexico. Severe thunderstorms developed over the Tularosa Basin and produced a couple of wind gusts of 58 mph to 66 mph.
