Video relayed through social media showed a waterspout near the Charleston jetties.
The wider storm
Conditions were favorable for waterspout development in the morning hours along the southeast South Carolina coast. Lines of showers developed just offshore along the land breeze, with plentiful low-level moisture and light surface winds.
Began near Sullivans Island (32.7300, -79.8300).
