Increased monsoonal moisture from the remnants of Tropical Storm Ileana moved northward from the Gulf of California into New Mexico on September 15th. Scattered virga showers and thunderstorms developed over portions of northern and central NM. One produced a rogue gust of 63 mph at the Raton Municipal Airport.
