Nickel to quarter sized hailstones reported in East Aurora.

A west to east oriented front along with a passing shortwave trough provided the energy and forcing for a severe thunderstorm to develop over Erie County. The storm was short lived and weakened as it tracked southeast into neighboring Wyoming County. One report was received for each severe hail and thunderstorm wind damage.
