Low near Elkhart was in place with an inverted trough extending northward into Nebraska was the focus area as an isolated supercell moved across northern Trego and much of Ellis county between 10 and 11 pm. Law Enforcement reported that power pole lines were downed from the Thunderstorm winds in the Hays area. Gusts to 61 mph were reported measured by the Public on the southwest side of Hays.
