A strong thunderstorm resulted in flash flooding in and around Kanarraville. One house received flood damage from water, mud, and debris per Iron County Emergency Management.

Wider weather episode

Sufficient moisture in combination with a shortwave impulse brushing by the area resulted in numerous strong thunderstorm wind gusts in addition to isolated instances of flash flooding.
