A high temperature of 93 degrees was set at Seattle-Tacoma airport on July 7th breaking the old record of 90 degrees in 2010. A high temperature of 92 degrees was also set at WFO Seattle on July 7th breaking the old record of 89 degrees set in 1945.

A long stretch of hot temperatures across western Washington caused numerous records to broken during the beginning of July.
