Wider weather episode

A low pressure system tracking through the region led to the development of scattered showers and thunderstorms through the day. In the afternoon, some of these produced damaging winds in Wexford and Missaukee counties, and also in Ogemaw and Iosco counties. Additionally, locally heavy rainfall occurred with some of these storms, as well as some isolated hail from pea-size up to one inch reports.
