Event narrative

Wind gust of 45 knots was measured at Rappahannock Light. A sailboat capsized during a storm near Hungars Creek off the Chesapeake Bay near Eastville. One man and one woman were on the boat. The man and woman were thrown from the boat into the Bay. The woman made it safely to shore. The man's body was found the next morning by the Coast Guard near the mouth of Mattawoman Creek on the Chesapeake Bay side of the Eastern Shore.
