Utility company reported trees and large limbs blown down on power lines on the eastern shores of Lake Keowee north of Highway 11.

Wider weather episode

Scattered thunderstorms and storm clusters moved across portions of upstate South Carolina during the afternoon. One of the storms produced brief severe weather in the form of damaging wind gusts in the Lake Keowee area.
