County comms reported a tree was blown down on a home and punctured the roof on York Spann Rd. Another tree was blown down near Trivette Rd and Mullis Rd.

Scattered thunderstorms developed across the North Carolina Piedmont during the afternoon and evening. A couple of the storms produced brief severe weather in the form of damaging wind gusts.
