Spotters reported a tree blown down on Roy Cline Rd and multiple trees blown down on nearby Irish Potato Rd along the Cabarrus County line.

Scattered thunderstorms developed across western North Carolina during the afternoon and evening. A few of the storms produced brief severe weather, mainly in the form of damaging wind gusts.
