Event narrative

Significant flash flooding in and around the Dollywood theme park turned several of the park's walkways into streams, flooding several shops within the park. Excessive water ponded in the parking lot, flooding numerous vehicles. Nearby, Veterans Blvd was closed from McCarter Hollow Road to Forge Hideaway Road.

Scattered, slow-moving convection beneath a humid high pressure ridge produced isolated flash flooding.
