Strong downburst thunderstorm winds downed several trees in the Omer area, resulting in power outages.

Wider weather episode

Warm and very moist summertime airmass, combined with destabilization and lake breeze boundaries off Lake Huron, resulted in locally heavy rainfall along and south of the M-55 corridor eastward to Lake Huron, as well as strong winds with the most intense storms near Saginaw Bay.
