A 12 inch diameter aspen tree was downed by strong thunderstorm winds.

A couple disturbances crossed the Upper Great Lakes, driving a couple rounds of storms...one in the early morning hours which crossed Lake Michigan, and a second round that developed around midday on the 27th, crossing northern Michigan and resulting in areas of wind damage from Lake Michigan to near Saginaw Bay.
