The Gemstone Fire burned 177 acres on the southeast edge of Kingman. Power lines were damaged.

Monsoon moisture moving in from the south fueled isolated thunderstorms, a few of which produced high winds. In addition, a wildfire of unknown origin damaged infrastructure on the southeast edge of Kingman.
