Severe thunderstorm outflow winds downed trees and wires near Allen Pond in Greene.

A weak frontal boundary pushed though Central Maine during the afternoon hours of July 17th, sparking numerous showers and thunderstorms. A weak shear environment prevented most storms from becoming severe, but an isolated storm brought some damaging winds to Androscoggin County.
