Windy Deuce Fire. Started on private land six miles east of Masterson, TX. Grass and brush. Several communities threatened. Water and power infrastructure threatened. This fire would go on to expand to a small portion of Hutchinson County, Potter County, and Carson County. The fire burned 144,045 acres and the estimated cost is $4,100,000. The southern extent approached just outside of northwest Amarillo.
