Fast moving flood waters covered County Road J just off HWY 60. Water was at least 6 to 8 inches deep.

Several photos and videos were submitted of a brief circulation that occurred east of FM 294 and south of County Road 13. The circulation lasted around a minute to a minute and a half. No damage was noted as the tornado remained in open fields.

Several mesonet sites observed severe wind gusts. The 6 NE Pantex mesonet gusted to 72mph at 2248 CST. The 4 SSW Pantex gusted to 63mph at 0105 CST on April 2nd. The last highest gust occurred at 0314CST at the 4 SSW Pantex mesonet site, which was 61 mph.

Sunray gusted to 58 mph a couple of times during the afternoon on the 19th with the last gust at 1301CDT. Frequent high wing gusts associated with the sting jet occurred between 0046CDT and 0222CDT. Peak gust from the sting jet was 76 MPH.

Each observation site had dozens of high wind gusts from 58 mph to 80 mph, with the highest concentration of high wind gusts between 0900CDT to 1400CDT. Estimated average sustained winds were 45-50 mph during that time.

The heaviest snow fell across the southern half of the county, especially around the I-40 corridor where 8 to 12 of snow was measured. Across the northern third of the county snow totals were less than 6.

Central to northwest parts of Carson County fell in the swath of 8 to 12 of snow, especially HWY 60 northward. South of HWY60 snow amounts gradually fell off but still had received 4 to 8.

Large hail started to fall around 1815CDT and lasted several minutes at the Pantex plant. Small dents were observed on vehicles in the parking lot after the storm passed.

A picture was received, from local law enforcement, of approximately half dollar sized hail. It was also reported that there was accumulating hail up to one foot deep near FM 2161 and County Road 7 in Carson County.
