What the National Weather Service wrote

The mesonet site located six miles northeast of Pantex recorded a wind gusts of 81mph at 0028CDT. The first severe wind gust was 63mph at 0025CDT.

The wider storm

Isolated storms affected the combined Panhandles during the evening of July 11th, some of which resulted in large hail in the eastern Texas Panhandle. Additionally, a large squall line pushed through the combined Panhandles during the overnight hours of July 11th into the 12th. This complex of storms brought damaging winds to the region along with an instance of quarter size hail.
