The Winslow Airport measured a peak wind gust of 73 MPH at 1207 AM as a result of
convective activity in the area. Wind gusts were above 58 MPH between 1130 PM to 1210 AM.

Monsoon moisture over Arizona allowed thunderstorms to form across the area. One storm produce strong outflow winds that hit Winslow.
