Dense fog was observed for several hours at Quakertown Airport and Pennridge Airport.

Wider weather episode

Light winds and clear skies in the wake of rain and thunderstorms the previous evening allowed areas of dense fog to form before dawn on August 19th. The fog dissipated shortly after dawn as a cold front moved through.
