A trained spotter reported hail up to quarter size that accumulated 1 to 2 inches on the ground.
Wider weather episode
A shortwave moved across Wyoming and brought severe thunderstorms to portions of central Wyoming. A 60 mph wind gust was reported at the Lander airport in Fremont County. In Johnson County, quarter size hail was reported to the southeast of Linch.
