Strong winds caused a power pole to snap at the intersection of New Middletown Road and St Peters Church road near New Middletown.

Wider weather episode

Scattered thunderstorms developed within a hot and humid air mass along the Ohio River during the afternoon hours on July 13th. While most of the thunderstorms did not produce severe weather in southern Indiana, a downburst over Harrison County produced isolated wind damage as well as sub-severe hail.
