The Evanston North mesonet station recorded a wind gust of 73 mph as a result of outflow winds associated with a nearby cluster of showers and thunderstorms moving through the area.

A shortwave trough brushed across southern Wyoming, resulting in enough support for the development of scattered high-based thunderstorms, and isolated severe level wind gusts.
