Strong north to northeast winds were observed across the eastern range of the San Gabriel Mountains. Some peak gusts include: Mount Lukens Truck Trail (gust 83 MPH), Clear Creek RAWS (gust 72 MPH) and Barley Flats (gust 64 MPH).
Wider weather episode
A second, late season, storm rolled across Southwestern California. This storm brought strong north to northeast winds as well as strong thunderstorms with gusty outflow winds and hail.
