Strong north to northeast winds were observed across the western range of the Santa Monica Mountains. Some peak gusts include: Deer Creek Canyon (gust 68 MPH), Rancho Del Cielo (gust 59 MPH) and Corral Canyon (gust 58 MPH).
Wider weather episode
A second, late season, storm rolled across Southwestern California. This storm brought strong north to northeast winds as well as strong thunderstorms with gusty outflow winds and hail.
