Strong north to northeast winds were observed across the Malibu Coast. Some peak gusts include: Escondido Canyon (gust 65 MPH), Malibu Creek (gust 64 MPH) and Ramirez Canyon (gust 60 MPH).

Wider weather episode

A second, late season, storm rolled across Southwestern California. This storm brought strong north to northeast winds as well as strong thunderstorms with gusty outflow winds and hail.
