Wind gusts of up to 35 knots (40 MPH) were measured by a personal weather station at Fishing Creek (KMDFISHI2) adjacent to the Tangier Sound.

A few thunderstorms produced gale-force wind gusts mainly near the middle tidal Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay area.

Began near Lower Hooper Island (hpr) (38.3200, -76.2300).
