A thunderstorm produced an estimated wind gust to 34 knots (39 MPH) near a mesonet at Piney Point adjacent to Eastern Bay.

A hot, humid, and very unstable airmass resulted in scattered pulse thunderstorms. Several of these thunderstorms drifted over area waterways resulting in gale- to storm-force wind gusts.
