A wind gust of 35 knots (40 MPH) was measured by a mesonet at Hampstead Hill Academy (BLMHH) adjacent to the tidal Patapsco River.

Several bands of showers and thunderstorms affected the tidal Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay, resulting in numerous gale-force wind gusts.
