A thunderstorm produced an estimated wind gust to 34 knots (39 MPH) near a Tempest station at Huntingfield Point adjacent to the tidal Chester River.

Several bands of showers and thunderstorms affected the tidal Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay, resulting in numerous gale-force wind gusts.
