A wind gust of 35 knots (40 MPH) was measured by a Tempest station in Oxford adjacent to the tidal Choptank River.

Several bands of showers and thunderstorms affected the tidal Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay, resulting in numerous gale-force wind gusts.

Began near Choptank River (chop) (38.6846, -76.2126).
