Trees blew down in Frostburg, including at the intersection of Welsh Hill Road Southwest and Smittys Road Southwest, and at the intersection of New Georges Creek Road Southwest and Cherry Lane Southwest.

Wider weather episode

Numerous thunderstorms developed ahead of a cold front. Several of the storms became severe, producing both considerable wind damage and giant hail in some cases.
