Rescue squad reported trees and power lines blown down across the northern half of the county, including on Snow Creek Rd at Old Stagecoach Ln, where a power pole fell on a vehicle, Jennings Rd at Trumpet Branch Rd, North Chipley Ford Rd at Jehue Lane, Wilkesboro Hwy and Grier Farm Rd, on Ingram Rd, and on Shelton Ave at Rocker Lane.

An isolated thunderstorm moved south into Iredell County from Wilkes County and increased to severe levels, producing areas of downed trees across the northern half of the county.
