A peak wind gust of 74 mph was measured at the Jordan Airport AWOS (KJDN). Other notable gusts include 69 mph at 9 WNW Sand Springs NW mesonet site at 9:30 PM, and 62 mph at Jordan E. mesonet site (MTM88) at 10:30 PM.

Wider weather episode

A powerful cold front, along with light showers, transported very strong upper level winds down to the surface, bringing powerful wind gusts to the region.
