For multiple sites across Eastern Roosevelt County, sustained winds of 40 mph or more were common from late morning to early evening. A peak wind gust of 65 mph was recorded at the 11:45 AM at the US-2 Stateline DOT site and at Froid NE MDA mesonet site (MTM81) at 3:30 PM.
