Event narrative

Widespread roadway flooding and some property inundation occurred in the tidal areas of Atlantic County. The tide gauge on the oceanfront at Atlantic City reached 7.2 feet MLLW, and the tide gauge at Margate reached 6.68 feet MLLW.

Wider weather episode

A prolonged period of onshore flow due to an offshore coastal storm + a full moon resulted in higher tides and moderate coastal flooding in some communities of coastal New Jersey.
