WYDOT sensor at Coleman, along Interstate 25, reported a peak gust of 70 mph.

Locally strong winds up to 88 mph were reported along Interstate 80, Interstate 25, and nearby state highways between Noon September 17th. After a brief lull, winds picked back up to High Wind Warning criteria early in the morning on September 18th.
