Thunderstorm wind damage cause resulted in a downed power pole at the intersection of NW 80th Avenue and 90th Street.

The wider storm

An eastward moving broken line of Severe Thunderstorms developed along a surface trough of low pressure, intersected by a stationery surface frontal boundary, between about 4 and 7 pm August 14th. Although wind gusts were not recorded by instrument, the downed power pole south of Radium and the multiple downed trees in Ashland implied winds in excess of 58 mph.

Began near Quivira Refuge (38.0871, -98.8947).
