ODOT sensors at Blalock Canyon and LePage Park measured a wind gust of 58 and 63 mph, respectively.

Wider weather episode

A strong south-southwesterly upper-level low triggered a round of severe thunderstorms and strong outflow winds along the east slopes of the Cascades, extending into eastern Oregon. Numerous reports of damaging wind gusts and small hail were reported.
