Wider weather episode

By impact standards, this was the least impactful of the four days. By 12Z Friday morning, August 2nd, the cold/stationary front to our northwest finally started to push eastward into western Kentucky. A line of storms had already developed along it and pushed well ahead of it. By the time it reached western Kentucky. The line of storms was already moving into central Kentucky. Thankfully as it reached eastern Kentucky, it began to break apart. However, embedded stronger storms within the system still led to multiple severe thunderstorm warnings just before noon. Storms continued to pop up throughout the day ahead of the approaching cold front. These storms resulted in high rainfall rates and amounts, and ultimately led to additional flash flood warnings and another severe thunderstorm warning or two. Ultimately, given the amount of warnings, the impacts were very minimal, with only one flash flood report and one thunderstorm wind damage report for the day, both in the afternoon.
