A fatal car accident, the result of icy road conditions, occurred in the South Williamson area on US 119. There were a total of around 30 accidents around the county. Most of these were of the non-injury variety.
A man was killed when a tree fell on his car as he was driving past the Grapevine Elementary School on Hwy 194.
A woman was swept away in flood waters near the intersection of Walters Road and KY Hwy 1460 east of Pikeville.
