Spotter and fire dept reported multiple trees and power lines blown down in the Lincolnton area, with a couple of other trees down in the eastern part of the county.

Wider weather episode

Scattered thunderstorms and storm clusters developed across the North Carolina mountains during the afternoon western moved east into Piedmont during the late afternoon and evening. A few of the storms produced brief damaging wind gusts.
