A large white pine tree, along with large limbs from other trees, were blown down by severe straight line thunderstorm wind gusts.

Wider weather episode

Small upper level impulses help to force a weakly organized mesoscale convective system during the late afternoon into early evening in East Tennessee, generating a few instances of severe straight line wind damage.
