Trees blown down by severe thunderstorm winds in a couple of locations including on Blue Springs Road near Hungry Hollow Road, and on Dalton Pike Hwy 60 in the Flint Springs area.

A mature upper low with an embedded shortwave allowed for a couple rounds of scattered severe thunderstorms to cross East Tennessee, with hail and damaging thunderstorm winds occurring.
