Several trees and powerlines were blown down in the western portion of the county by severe thunderstorm wind gusts.

A mature upper low with an embedded shortwave allowed for a couple rounds of scattered severe thunderstorms to cross East Tennessee, with hail and damaging thunderstorm winds occurring.
