Fire dept reported trees and power lines blown down at Cheatham Ford Rd and Lawzyday Farm Dr. Numerous trees were blown down just north of Stony Point, with an additional tree down on a building on Alexander Rd.

Wider weather episode

Isolated thunderstorms moved into the North Carolina Piedmont during the afternoon into the evening. A few of the storms produced strong-to-damaging wind gusts.
