Event narrative

A few trees were blown down in the near the community of Warrenton.

Wider weather episode

High pressure was over Texas in tandem with northwesterly flow on the east side of the high brought a disturbance through Arkansas leading to severe thunderstorms that tracked from northwest to southeast across the state. At the surface, a cold front boundary provided a lifting mechanism for the thunderstorms as the boundary moved from north to south across the state.
