Trees and wires downed in Sodus.

Wider weather episode

An upper level trough, along with steep lapse rates and daytime heating caused strong to severe thunderstorms to develop along the south shore of Lake Ontario. Wind was the primary severe weather threat, but early on a thunderstorm developed one inch hail.
